Template & Digital Product Policy
By purchasing any template or digital product from Dovetail Studio, you agree to the following terms:
1. Single License Use
Each template license is valid for one website, one brand, and one end user. If you wish to use the template for another project, business, or client, a separate license must be purchased.
2. Non-Sharing Policy
All templates, design files, and resources are for the sole use of the purchaser. Sharing, distributing, or gifting templates or any included assets to others who have not purchased is strictly prohibited.
3. No Resale or Reproduction
Templates, products, and any associated design assets may not be resold, recreated, redistributed, or claimed as your own in any form.
4. Ownership and Attribution
All designs remain the intellectual property of Dovetail Studio. You may not claim the original template design as your own. Dovetail Studio reserves the right to showcase your customized template in our marketing materials or portfolio.
5. Demo Content Disclaimer
Demo templates include placeholder fonts, images, and graphics that may not be licensed for use on a live site. These elements are included for inspiration only and must be replaced before publishing.
6. Imagery and Font Usage
Buyers are responsible for ensuring they have proper rights and licenses to use any images, graphics, or fonts uploaded to their website. Dovetail Studio is not liable for copyright or licensing issues resulting from your content choices.
7. Site Credit
All templates include a discreet footer credit linking to Dovetail Studio. This credit must remain in place unless a credit removal fee has been paid.
8. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of templates and products, all sales are final and non-refundable. We strongly encourage reviewing all product details and demos before purchasing. If you have questions, contact hello@dovetailstudio.co.
9. Platform Support
Templates are built exclusively for the Showit platform. We are not responsible for technical support related to the platform itself. Please contact Showit directly for platform-related issues.
10. Pricing and Payment Terms
All purchases must be paid in full unless a payment plan is offered and selected at checkout. Payment plans must be completed in full. Late or failed payments may result in a $20/week fee until the balance is resolved. Dovetail Studio reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Promotional discounts will not be applied retroactively.
